Jan. 20, 2:04 a.m.: A male non-student’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle near campus. The driver was reportedly intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to the Denton County Jail.

Jan. 21, 11:25 p.m.: Two male students, both ages 19, were arrested by a UNT police officer on suspicion possession of marijuana. The two men were transported to the Denton County Jail.

Tuesday, Jan. 22, 12:57 a.m.: A hall director at UNT requested for a police officer to standby during an administrative search in Legends Hall, A UNT police officer responded to the call and took custody of contraband.

1:31 a.m.: The UNT police department and Denton Emergency Medical Services responded to a call received from a severely depressed male. The suicidal person was transported for medical treatment.

Wednesday, Jan. 23, 9:05 a.m.: A complainant reported a medical emergency. A UNT police officer responded to the complaint and the patient was transported for medical treatment.

10:25 a.m.: The Denton County Sheriff’s department requested K-9 assistance on traffic stop at 3000 southbound I 35 E. A UNT police department K-9 officer responded, assisted, and completed the incident report.

2:40 p.m.: A female non-student female, age 30, who was wanted by the Irving Police department was arrested for driving with an invalid license at a traffic stop and escorted by a UNT police officer. She was taken to the county jail.

Thursday, Jan. 24, 2:25 p.m.: A K-9 unit reportedly found marijuana in a student’s car in UNT lot 27. The student was contacted and taken to the county jail.

2:55 p.m.: A complainant reported the theft of a bicycle. A UNT police officer responded to the complaint and an offense report was completed.

6:27 p.m.: A medical emergency was reported and the UNT police department and Emergency Medical Services responded. The patient was transported for treatment.

Friday, Jan. 25, 12:55 a.m.: An assault complaint was filed to the police department.

11:51 p.m.: The police department was contacted about a suspected person. The officer arrived and issued citation for urinating in public to a 23-year-old non-student.
